Twix Cheesecake




  • Crust:
  • 1/2 pkg. Oreos
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • Cheesecake Batter:
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 t. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 12 mini Twix bars, chopped into small pieces
  • Preparation:
    1. 1. Preheat the oven to 275F.
    2. 2. In a food processor, grind the Oreos into fine crumbs. Put the crumbs into a bowl and add the sugar. Mix to combine. Add the melted butter and mix to coat all of the crumbs with
    3. butter.
    4. 3. Line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners. Scoop 1 T. of the cookie crumbs into each cupcake liner, then press the crumbs down firmly.
    5. 4. Beat the cream cheese until smooth. Beat in the sugar until combined, then add the vanilla extract. Slowly add the beaten eggs and beat until the eggs are incorporated. Add the sour cream.
    6. 5. Stir the Twix bars into the cheesecake batter and gently fold them in.
    7. 6. Using an ice cream scooper, scoop the cheesecake batter into each cupcake liner. Bake the cheesecakes for 30 minutes. Chill the cheesecakes before serrving.
