Basic Bechamel Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 1.25 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • Preparation:
    1. 1. Heat milk until almost boiling.
    2. 2. Melt butter. Wisk flour into butter over medium heat (2 min).
    3. 3. Add hot milk slowly while stirring. Simmer (3-4 min).
    4. 4. Add nutmeg.
